International Conference on Automation & Robotics

Beyond Smart Manufacturing

20 – 21 June 2025, Chennai Trade Center, Chennai

concurrent with ACMEE

The manufacturing sector is the backbone of India’s economy, with MSMEs contributing 45% of the country’s manufacturing output and remaining a cornerstone of India's manufacturing ecosystem, fostering industrial innovation, economic resilience, and job creation. The rapid integration of Industry 4.0 technologies, including automation, artificial intelligence (AI), robotics, the Internet of Things (IoT), and data analytics, is transforming MSMEs into technology-driven enterprises.

Smart manufacturing solutions enable real-time monitoring, predictive maintenance, and operational efficiency, helping MSMEs improve productivity, product quality, and cost-effectiveness. Collaborative robots (Cobots), cloud computing, and supply chain automation are particularly beneficial for modernizing MSME operations. To remain competitive in the evolving global market, integrating automation and robotics is crucial for enhancing productivity, efficiency, and scalability. India's automation and robotics market, valued at $1.5 billion in 2023, is growing at a CAGR of 13-15%, driven by Industry 4.0.

With this background, we are pleased to inform you that Ambattur Industrial Estate Manufacturers Association (AIEMA), in association with the Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IITM), is organizing the International Conference on Automation and Robotics on 20 & 21 June 2025 at Chennai Trade Centre, Chennai, concurrent with the 16th Edition ACMEE 2025—India’s Premier International Machine Tools Show. This conference aims to bring together industry leaders, policymakers, academia, and technology providers to deliberate on the transformative potential of automation and robotics in MSMEs and drive next-generation manufacturing.
